This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') governs your use of the ParkAfrica platform and supplements our Terms of Service. It applies to all users - parking operators, subscribers, administrators, and any other individuals accessing the Platform.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund, and may expose you to legal liability.

You may use ParkAfrica to:

• Register and manage legitimate parking facilities
• Create and manage subscriber plans for genuine parking services
• Subscribe to parking services at registered facilities
• Monitor and manage parking occupancy and access
• Generate reports and analytics related to your parking operations
• Communicate with your subscribers regarding their parking subscriptions
• Integrate ParkAfrica with your existing parking infrastructure through approved means

You must not use ParkAfrica to post, upload, transmit, or facilitate:

Fraudulent activity: Registering parking facilities that do not exist, collecting payments for spaces you do not control, or misrepresenting your services.

Harmful content: Content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or that promotes violence or illegal activity.

Malicious code: Viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or any other harmful software.

Unauthorised data collection: Scraping user data, collecting personal information without consent, or using the Platform to build competing databases.

Spam: Sending unsolicited communications to users or other operators through the Platform.

Impersonation: Pretending to be ParkAfrica, another operator, or any other person or entity.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our infrastructure
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or load testing without our written permission
• Introduce any code that could disable, overburden, or impair the Platform
• Bypass or circumvent any authentication, rate limiting, or access control mechanisms
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to interact with the Platform without prior written approval

Data accessed through ParkAfrica must only be used for its intended purpose:

• Subscriber data collected through your parking lot may only be used to manage that subscriber's parking service
• You may not sell, rent, or share subscriber data with third parties without explicit consent
• You may not use subscriber data for marketing purposes beyond the parking services they subscribed to
• You may not retain subscriber data beyond the period necessary to provide the parking service
• All data use must comply with applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction

To ensure a consistent experience for all users, you agree to:

• Not exceed the subscriber limits of your plan without upgrading
• Not use the Platform in a way that places excessive load on our infrastructure
• Not use the API in ways that exceed reasonable usage thresholds
• Not deliberately circumvent plan limits through technical means

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access if your usage materially impacts the experience of other users.

If you become aware of any violation of this policy or any other misuse of the Platform, please report it to us promptly:

We treat all reports confidentially and investigate them thoroughly. We do not tolerate retaliation against users who make good-faith reports.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon finding a violation, we may:

• Issue a formal warning
• Temporarily suspend your account
• Permanently terminate your account
• Remove any offending content
• Report the violation to relevant authorities

Our enforcement decisions are made at our sole discretion, taking into account the severity and frequency of the violation.
